Unloop ("we," "us," or "our") is a self-reflection and cognitive clarity tool. We are deeply committed to protecting your privacy. When you trust us with your most vulnerable thoughts, privacy isn't a feature — it's the foundation of everything we build.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use our website at unloop.life and our services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Your Thoughts & Entries

When you use Unloop, you type personal thoughts and reflections. These entries are processed by our AI system to generate clarity reports, identify cognitive patterns, and provide grounded next steps. Your entries are stored in your account so you can revisit them.

Usage Data

We may collect basic usage data such as pages visited, feature interactions, and session duration to improve the product experience. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Payment Information

If you upgrade to a paid plan, payment processing is handled entirely by our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your credit card details. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the service: Processing your thoughts through AI to generate clarity reports and cognitive insights.
• To manage your account: Authentication, session management, and account preferences.
• To improve Unloop: Understanding aggregate usage patterns to make the product better. We do not use your private entries for this purpose.
• To communicate: Sending important service updates or responding to your support inquiries.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Unloop:

• Supabase — Database and authentication infrastructure. Your account data and entries are stored securely on Supabase's infrastructure with encryption at rest.
• OpenAI — AI processing. Your thoughts are sent to OpenAI's API to generate clarity reports. Per OpenAI's API data usage policy, API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models.
• Google OAuth — If you choose to sign in with Google, we use Google's OAuth 2.0 service for authentication. Google's privacy policy applies to the data Google collects during sign-in.
• Lemon Squeezy — Payment processing for premium subscriptions. We do not handle or store your payment card information directly.

5. Data Security

All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Data at rest is encrypted on our infrastructure providers' servers. We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual entries at any time from within the app. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact us at hello@unloop.life. We will process account deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Request portability of your data

8. Children's Privacy

Unloop is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Unloop after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
